I have an interest in violence. Violence is something that is widely ignored in the hope that it will go away. Violence is one of those things that happen to other people.

It would be easy to make a figure that looks “scary”. My aim is to make something that leaves people intimidated, disturbed and uncomfortable in a very ordinary manner. I have seen violence from both sides (the aggressor and the victim) and I want to use this experience to highlight how violence is part of everyday life.
